Angiosperm plants provide roots encased in “fruits,” which incorporate the fruits that you eat, but which also combines plants you might not believe of as fruits, such as maple roots, acorns, seeds, grain, rice, and corn.

The Cretaceous period which was occurred 144-65 million years ago was a time of vast diversity in plant life, mammal life, and even the front of the Earth. Angiosperms emerged about 140 million years ago, throughout the late Jurassic period, and quickly developed.
