Which property is best to use when determining the strength of an ionic bond in a solid?
Shtirlitz [24]
I think the best property to use is electronegativity since that is how much it attracts/wants electrons.  The larger the difference in electronegativity is between two atoms, the stronger the ionic bond will be.  This is also why two atoms need to have a minimum difference between the electronegativity to be considered ionic and not covalent.

A cinama has 3 screens on last saturday the was 500 visitors 40% went to screen 1 25% went to screen 2 and the rest to screen 3
olga nikolaevna [1]

Answer:

The answer to your question is 200 visitors went to screen 1

                                                     125 visitors went to screen 2

                                                      175 visitors went to screen 3

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

3 screens

total number of visitors = 500

40% screen 1

25% screen 2

rest screen 3

Process

1.- Calculate the 40% of 500

                    500 visitors ------------------- 100%

                        x               -------------------    40%

                        x = (40 x 500) / 100

                        x = 20000/100

                        x = 200 visitors

2.- Calculate the 25% of 500

                     500 visitors ------------------- 100%

                        x                -------------------   25%

                        x = (25 x 500) / 100

                        x = 12500/100

                        x = 125

3.- Calculate the number of visitors to screen 3

                     500 - 200 - 125

                     175

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP
andreev551 [17]

Answer:

Around 55.9

Step-by-step explanation:

The first step is to find the area of segment of the circle. Since the segment is a 90 degree angle and a total circle is 360, it is a quarter of the area of a circle. Therefore, you can find its area with the formula \frac{1}{4}\pi r^2=49\pi. Now, you can find the area of the triangle inside. Since all of the radii in a circle are the same length, the triangle has two sides of length 14. Using the triangle area formula, you get an area of 14*14/2=98 square centimeters. 49\pi-98\approx 55.9 square centimeters. Hope this helps!
