The answer is letter A. The California Alian Land Law of 1913 prohibits foreigners from owning lands, stocks and other properties. They were also not allowed to lease them for more than three years of tenure. Many Chinese, Indian, Japanese and Korean immigrant farmers were deeply affected of this law.
