1. A. Epic

An epic is a long poem written about a hero and his travels.

2. Lofty.

It is a written in a lofty style and emphasizes the theme of heroism. Today, the word epic is often used to describe something that is over the top, awesome, or memorable. For example, "The party last night was EPIC!" Usually the stories people then tell about the event will be spoken about with superlatives like best, most, biggest. This is similar to the way a hero and his accomplishments are described in an epic.

3. superhuman

The hero has several superhuman qualities. This is because the epic is written with such lofty language, the behaviors and traits of the hero are larger than what would be considered normal for a human.

Answer:

A: The school needs to be renovated.

This topic sentence which would best fit the support sentences

Explanation:

The given sentences show the problems in the building of the school. The air conditioning system is not working because of which students are not able to concentrate on studies as they feel hot. The lightning is dim and even some of the hand rails are not properly attached to the walls.

All this can be repaired only when the school building is renovated. So, option A is the correct answer as the topic sentence of the given sentences. They have nothing to do with teachers gaining respect, as per Option B. Neither it is related to the choice of school by the students. Option D talks about education in America which is not related to these lines. So, B, C and D are incorrect options.
