When you read an article, you should analyze the source of the information because to make sure that it is from a reputable, reliable place or source. If we rely on articles that does not base everything in facts and not reliable, it would create confusion and it creates problems.

Answer:

C. To make sure that it is from a reputable, reliable place

Explanation:

Since almost everyone with the necessary means can write an article and post in on the internet, nowadays to verify who is providing the content of an article published is essential to make sure that the information comes from a reputable, reliable place or person. These days, most articles with one or two sources of information that can be identified or recognized are considered valid.

Which best explains London’s purpose for comparing the consequences of stealing for a man and for a husky?
Mariulka [41]

Answer:

Not sure but can narrow it down

Explanation:

I don't have enough info to be sure about the answer. I don't know if there is an article or passage to read. If there is, please upload it so I can help you further. I think the answer should be either the first choice or the last choice. If you want to persuade readers that huskies sometimes steal food from humans, in order to compare the consequences, it could be to open up someone's eyes as to what they are doing is wrong. It would be like asking a thief, how would you feel if a husky snatched your filet mignon off of your plate? They would hopefully see that it wouldn't feel good, therefore they shouldn't steal because it will hurt someone else.

The option that says they want to persuade readers that humans and huskies are treated as equals, in my opinion, means that if we would give consequences to a dog such as scolding him, a human should also receive some sort of consequence.

Maurinko [17]
An author of a detective novel is most likely to use figurative language to help the reader visualize a character.
These writers will use figures of speech such as similes, metaphors, personifications, etc. in order to describe their characters and make them easier to visualize for the audience. Oftentimes, these characters have very distinctive characteristics about them.

Click to read "I Am Offering this Poem" by Jimmy Santiago Baca. Then
Galina-37 [17]

Answer:

I would contend that the lines that have a more serious tone are these: I am offering this poem to you, since I have nothing else to give, and when the world outside no longer cares if you live or die; remember, I love you.

Explanation:

The speaker in this poem starts and finishes his declaration of love with references to his lack of material wealth. These parts of the poem feature a more serious tone. He then asks his beloved one to keep the poem, and his love, like a humble, but necessary, object. It is here, and throughout the next two stanzas, when he employs a visually descriptive and figurative language: a warm coat, a pair of thick socks. He then compares the poem and his love to a pot full of yellow corn and a scarf for your head, two equally simple, but very comforting, things. Lastly, he compares his love to a compass and to a warm and safe place in the middle of the wilderness (a reference to senectitude), finishing with a praise to love.
