Answer:

After practicing the first lesson, Tris feels energetic and enthusiastic both physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Explanation:

"Divergent" is a novel written by Veronica Roth. The novel is set in a dystopian society of Chicago, which is divided into four factions. The citizens are required to choose one of the factions to live in the society.

After practicing the first lesson of gun shooting, Tris feels energetic and enthusiastic, as if a wave of energy is flowing in her veins. After missing several shots, Tris is finally able to hit the shots right at the target point. Therefore, she feels energetic and enthusiastic physically, mentally, and emotionally after her first lesson.

Lisa [10]
The sentence that uses a subjective pronoun correctly is the first one - Laura and I have written an original play for this year's festival.
The second sentence is incorrect because the word him is not subjective, and neither is her in the third sentence, or them in the last one.

Lessons from a third grade dropout
konstantin123 [22]

Answer:

The speech is about the lessons he learned from his father, a third-grade dropout, who was also the most intelligent man that he had ever known. He empowered and challenged his audience by asking them to ask themselves, “how am I living?

He had a very effective and empowering speech. One that relied heavily on his pathos and ethos, as he spoke of his own father’s wisdom and how it encouraged him in life. But also, on logos, with the many quotes he pulled out of his head.
