Answer:

The Congruent angles are

∴ ∠LAM ≅ ∠LBM  ........CPCTC

  ∠LMA ≅ ∠LMB  .........CPCTC

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

∆ALM ≅ ∆BLM by Side-Angle-Side (SAS)

To Find:

Which angles are congruent by CPCTC. = ?

Solution:

In  ΔALM  and ΔBLM

AL ≅ BL     ……….{Given}

∠ALM ≅ ∠BLM     …………..{Given}

LM ≅ LM     ……….{Reflexive Property}

ΔALM  ≅ ΔBLM  ….{Side-Angle-Side test}

If two triangles are congruent then corresponding angles are congruent by Corresponding Parts of Congruent Triangles are Congruent.

The Congruent angles are

∴ ∠LAM ≅ ∠LBM  ........CPCTC

  ∠LMA ≅ ∠LMB  .........CPCTC

In triangle QRS QT=5 and TS=22 what is RT? Explain!!
Anton [14]

Answer:

\large\boxed{RT=\sqrt{110}\approx10.49}

Step-by-step explanation:

ΔTQR and ΔTRS are similar (AA). Therefore the sides are in proportion:

\dfrac{RT}{QT}=\dfrac{TS}{RT}

We have QT = 5m ans TS = 22m. Substitute:

\dfrac{RT}{5}=\dfrac{22}{RT}          <em>cross multiply</em>

RT^2=(5)(22)

RT^2=110\to RT=\sqrt{110}

A man is twice as old as his son. Twelve years ago, the man
GrogVix [38]

Answer:

Son's age = 24 years

Man's age = 48 years

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's take the age of son as x

Man's age = 2x

Twelve years ago,

Son's age= x-12

Man's age= 2x-12

Man is three times as old as his son so,

\frac{2x - 12}{x - 12 } =  \frac{3}{1}

Solving for x,

2x-12(1) = x-12(3)

2x-12 = 3x-36

2x-3x = -36+12

-x = - 24

x = 24

So if we substitute the values we get,

Son's age = 24 years

Man's age = 48 years

Hope you understand :)
