You would cross multiply the numbers to get 8x=15.

Then you would take away the 8 from both sides so you would divide it.

You are now left with x=1 7/8

Therefore that is your answer.

borrowed 8000 at a rate of 20%, compounded quarterly. Assuming she makes no payments, how much will she owe after 8 years?
Arisa [49]

Answer: 115,200

Step-by-step explanation:

If his money is compounded quarterly by 20%, therefore the added interest will be 20%of 8,000 which is 1,600/quarter of a year. This will be equivalent to (4×1600) compounded interest for 1year i.e 6,400

If he borrowed 8000 initially, the accrued amount after one year will be initial money borrowed + compound interest = 8000 + 6400

= 14,400

After 8years, she will would have own 8×14,400 which is equivalent to 115,200.

This shows that she must have own 115,200 after 8years

Compose the trapezoid into a parallelogram what is the area of the trapezoid
Kay [80]

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  26 square feet

Step-by-step explanation:

When two of the trapezoids are combined to make a parallelogram, the height remains the same (4 ft), but the width is the sum of the base lengths, 10 ft + 3 ft = 13 ft.

The area of the combined trapezoids is ...

  A = bh = (13 ft)(4 ft) = 52 ft^2

The area of one trapezoid is half that, so is ...

  A = (52 ft^2)/2 = 26 ft^2 . . . . area of the trapezoid
