English

“The Giver” emphasizes the importance of memory to human beings and life in general. The story shows a community that decides to “erase” their bad memories so that they couldn’t feel pain anymore. The character Jonas then realized that although there is no pain without memory, there is also no happiness and no joy. His personal experiences are directly related to the main theme of the story because it’s all about memories and how important those memories are.

So I have to type a 2 page made up Christmas story and I'm not good at making stories.
emmainna [20.7K]

Answer:

Write a story about something easy, something that you're familiar with. It's better to submit something late that you wrote yourself than risk getting in trouble.

Here are some example sentences:

"Merry Christmas!" said Mr. Doug, our next door neighbor.

This Christmas was the best so far. At first, I was hesitant to go on a family trip, but soon enough, I forgot about all that I had left behind.

I smiled and watched from afar. It would be a Christmas miracle if he noticed me.

Good luck!

Which type of figurative language is found in the line "Nor shall death brag thou wand'rest in his shade"? hyperbole onomatopeia
Bad White [126]
The answer is personification.
The idea of death is being personified by doing actions only a human can do, like bragging and owning the shade. With the line “so beautiful death cannot claim her”, the writer really means that death shall not brag about him wandering in his shade really.
