24 pounds
In the first two weeks she only lost 2 pounds. In the remaining 11 weeks of her diet she lost 2 pounds a week so 11 x 2 = 22 then add on the 2 pounds lost from the first two weeks 22+2=24.

dmitriy555 [2]

Answer:

B. 200.5 \:  {m}^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of the composite figure = Area of square with side length 12 m + Area of semicircle with radius (12/2= 6) 6 m

=  {(12)}^{2}  + \frac{1}{2}  \pi {r}^{2}  \\  \\  = 144 +  \frac{1}{2} \times  3.14(6)^{2}  \\  \\  = 144 + \frac{1}{2}   \times 3.14 \times 36 \\  \\  = 144 + 56.52 \\  \\  = 200.52 \:  {m}^{2}  \\  \\  \approx \: 200.5 \:  {m}^{2}
