The two of the largest countries Africa is Algeria with 2,381,740 km2 area, the second is the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) with 2,345,410 km2 area.   The amount of Land Area occupied by these countries does not mean that they also lead in terms of population. This is because they were plagued with poor health, poverty, and hunger. Nigeria ranks first by population, while Ethiopia ranks second by population.

It lets meteorologists see a lot of information in a very small space. The symbols and numbers found there are the same across the world and have hardly changed in 75 years.
