Answer: The right answer is the A) Sections of a work can be interpreted in more than one way.

Explanation: Just to elaborate a little on the answer, it can be added that ambiguity refers specifically to the technique by means of which a sentence or even an entire argument can be understood in different ways, often leading to unclear, vague and even humorous interpretations, but quite often too to enriched and elevated texts. There are various types of ambiguities (the structure of the sentence can be ambiguous, for instance, or one word in particular can have various possible meanings), but a clear and easy example of ambiguity could be this one: "Mary saw the girl with glasses." Could Mary see the girl because Mary was wearing glasses, o was the girl Mary saw wearing glasses?

Which of the following statements describes how a listener’s interpretation of Samjay and his speech might change once he or she
DaniilM [7]

A listener to Samjay who reads the excerpt might notice that C. In the text excerpt, readers understand how Samjay is feeling. In the audio excerpt, however, listeners only hear the narrator.

What difference would the listener to Samjay notice?

When listening to Samjay via the audio recording, the listener will only be aware of what Samjay tells them.

When the person reads the excerpt from the passage however, they would notice other things such as how Samjay is feeling.

The purpose of learning about your audience, asking questions before presenting, and analyzing the diversity of your audience is
Vitek1552 [10]

Answer:

The answer is: All of the above.

Explanation:

All the options mentioned, apply for why would you have to or like to learn about your audience first?

Take a teacher's example in the first day of school, with new students, normally that first day a teacher plans a lesson is to build a rapport and/or get to know the students a bit and viceversa. As time passes, she/he pays attention to students' needs in order to plan her/his lessons, in this way, she personalizes more and and keeps the studets focused and motivated, also in her every day lesson plans she has to anticipate problems or controversies that could arise during the lesson, so as to avoid it (depending on the students) or to come up with a suitable solution. And well, the same happens with an audience in general, it is important to take into consideration all of the above options, in order to have a successful and interesting speech.

Please help with homework! I needed so bad! Help!
Virty [35]

I do not think that Phil can predict the weather. First, he is only a groundhog. He does not have weather equipment or any tools that would give him knowledge of weather patterns. Second, Phil would not see his shadow on a cloudy day. Winter is usually the cloudiest and darkest of all seasons. If Phil does not see his shadow, it should indicate that spring is not coming early. Third, the groundhog that is called Phil is not the original groundhog used on the first Groundhog Day. The entire celebration is just a way for people to get excited about the coming of spring, it's not an actual forecasting tool.

I think that Phil can predict the weather. First, he is a groundhog. He is more aware of nature and the changes in the weather than people are. Second, he and the groundhogs that have come before him have always been used to predict whether or not spring will come. If he was not a reliable indicator, people would have stopped asking Phil to predict the weather many years ago. Last, when Phil does not see his shadow, that means the weather is cloudy. The clouds show that there is rain coming and spring is the rainy season.
