The talk test is a one of the easiest ways to monitor your exercise intensity.  You don't need any equipment, like a heart rate monitor.  All you really need is the ability to talk and breathe.

Whether you can do both at the same time is where your intensity comes in.

The talk test is used to monitor the intensity of exercise and check the ability of a person to talk during exercise.

Further explanation:

The physical activity pyramid helps in organizing a person’s daily life routine. It separated the

exercises into different levels and helps the person to inherit a fit and healthy lifestyle. To have a  good and healthy lifestyle the adult person should spend at least 30 min in physical activity  while children should do 60 min of physical activity on a daily basis.

Physical activity depends on:

• Cardiorespiratory fitness: it provides energy during physical activity.

• Muscular endurance: Help in exerting force without getting tired.

• Flexibility: Help in smooth movement of joints.

• Body composition: It includes the amount of muscle, fat, and water.

• Muscular strength: Help in exert force during physical activity.

Physical fitness helps us to prevent heart disease, lungs cancer, stroke, and type 2 diabetes. Aerobic exercise is an important part of any fitness program. Aerobic exercise programs increase the consumption of oxygen and heart rate. Benefits To monitor aerobic exercise we require good method because monitoring heart rate is difficult.

The talk test was introduced to monitor proper cardiorespiratory exercise intensity and calculate the intensity. In the talk test, the intensity of exercise is maintained at which we can talk comfortably. When an exercise attains an intensity at which we can hardly react in conversation.is considered to be safe and suitable for cardiorespiratory endurance improvement.

Eddi Din [679]

Energy production depends on metabolic pathway and ATP yield, with fats having the highest ATP yield with ketone bodies, followed by Carbohydrates then proteins.

Energy produced by one glucose molecule yields final ATP of 5-7 through glycolysis and 17-25 through citric cycle.

Proteins energy prooduction is considered to be more healthy because unlike fats and carbohydrates they are not stored but used up immediately by the body.
