Answer:

Present religion of Cuba is Christianity.

Explanation:

There was arrival of Catholicism and African religions due to Spanish colonization and trans-Atlantic slave trade in 15th and 16th century respectively.

Over time, these religions transformed, and the Catholic Church became close to Spanish colonialism.

Afro-Cuban religions also suffered during colonization.

Under Castro’s rule, Cuba became a self-declared atheist state where Christians were harassed. But, the Church played a significant political role, it brought a huge influence through the educational system. Then, in 1992 the Cuban Constitution got amended and it was declared a secular state. It was no longer an atheist Republic.

How did the defeat at Saratoga change the tide of war?
erma4kov [3.2K]
The battle of Saratoga was a turning point in the American Revolution simply because, with their defeat of the British, the colonists showed that they were willing to fight for their freedom, and because of this, they won the support of European allies, like France and Spain. France later proved to be essential at the Battle of Yorktown because it was the French fleet that blocked in Cornwallis' troops, preventing him from escape, which of course caused him to surrender, ending the Revolution.
