For this case we have the following expression:

4.5 (8-x) + 36 = 102-2.5 (3x + 24)

Applying distributive property to the terms within parentheses we have:

36-4.5x + 36 = 102-7.5x-60

We add similar terms on both sides of equality considering that:

Equal signs are added and the same sign is placed.

Different signs are subtracted and the major sign is placed.

72-4.5x = 42-7.5x

We add 7.5x to both sides of equality:

72 + 3x = 42

We subtract 72 from both sides of equality:

3x = -30

We divide between 3 on both sides of equality

x = -10

ANswer:

Distributive property

Add similar terms

Equality property of the sum

Equality subtraction property

Equality property of the division

Cat just got a new summer job house sitting she will be paid 7.25 and hour her first costumer paid her 36.25
borishaifa [10]

Answer:

7.25 h =  $36.25  is the required expression.

Cat worked 5 hours for the customer as babysitter.

Step-by-step explanation:

The hourly rate paid to cat for babysitting job =  $7.25

Let us assume the number of hours cat worked = h hours

⇒The total amount paid for m working hours to Cat

= h x ( Cost of  working per hour)  = h  x $7.25

= 7.25 h

Also, the amount paid to Cat after h hours  = $36.25

According to question:

7.25 h =  $36.25

or, h  = 36.25 / 7.25 = 5

⇒ h  = 5

Hence, Cat worked 5 hours for the customer as babysitter .

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!!!!!
Ray Of Light [21]

Answer:

  1394

Step-by-step explanation:

You can derive a formula for the k-th term of the sequence, but for a few terms, it is just as easy to evaluate them.

  P₂₀₁₉ = 0.81(P₂₀₁₈ +25) = 0.81(2530 +25) = 2069.55

  P₂₀₂₀ = 0.81(P₂₀₁₉ +25) = 0.81(2069.55 +25) = 1696.5855

  P₂₀₂₁ = 0.81(P₂₀₂₀ +25) = 0.81(1696.5855 +25) ≈ 1394.48

At the start of 2021, there are predicted to be 1394 eagles in the park.
