Since it is a right triangle you will use the equation

a²+b²=c²

C will always be your longest side on the triangle (the hypotenuse)

A and B will be the two other legs

So it is a matter of guessing and checking by inputting the numbers into their own equations so for example answer choice 1 you would:

7.2²+4.6²= c²

Square them

51.84+21.16=c²

Add them

73=c²

Now that you have that you want to square root both sides

√73=√c²

Square root and square cancel out and it leaves you with

8.544...=c

So you know the first one isn’t it

So just use this to figure out the rest

Find the missing angle measures of the following figure
Lisa [10]

Answer:

1 = 68

2 = 68

3 = 125

Step-by-step explanation:

Hey there!

To find angle 1 all we have to do is subtract the given angles from 180 because remember all of the angles in a triangle add up to 180

180-73-39=68

1=68

angle 2 is vertical to angle 1 therefore they are congruent angles so

2 also equals 68

So we know that the interior angles in a 4 sided shape add up to equal 360

so to find 3 we subtract the given angles from 360

360-90-77-68=125

so 3 = 125

Kenya plans to make a down payment plus monthly payments in order to buy a motorcycle. At one dealer she would pay $2,350 down a
vovangra [49]

Answer:

After 16 months, Kenya will have paid $5,550

Step-by-step explanation:

This is a guess and check type of a problem.  You guess a number of months, plug it into x, and see if both equations come out with the same answer.

 If you plug 16 into the first dealer's equation, you get y= 200(16) + 2350.  Solving this equation will mean y equals 5550.

If you plug 16 into the second dealer's equation, you get y= 175(16) + 2750.

Solving this equation will mean y also equals 5550.

Solve the equation for y (picture below)<br> Please show work and solve as much as you can
Alina [70]
2)
4x-10y=12

Subtract 4x from each side.
-10y=-4x+12

Divide both sides by -10
y=2/5x-6/5

3)
13=1/6y+2x

Subtract 2x from each side.
-2x+13=1/6y

Multiply both sides by 6.
-12x+78=y

Flip it around.
y=-12x+78

Hope this helps!
