In which way did the Black Power movement most differ from King's movement?
makkiz [27]
King had a non-violence movement. They did things like sit in, practiced civil disobedience, and etc. When the police arrested them or acted violently towards them they would resist or fight back. This movement was successful.

The Black Power movement deals with violence. they thought that Kings way of getting rights was not helping so they took matter in their own hands and did things violently. This is why their movement wasn't successful.

What was George Washington's role in the French and Indian War?
Juli2301 [7.4K]

Answer:

I'm pretty sure it's A.

He told the French to leave the Ohio River Valley, behaved heroically at Braddock's defeat, and his surrender of Fort Necessity was considered one of the first battles of war. In 1753 Washington was sent as an ambassador from the British Crown to the French officials and Indians as far north as present-day Erie, Pennsylvania.

12. Why did the southern cotton industry have a hard time recovering after the Civil War?
expeople1 [14]
The correct answer is letter A. Foreign competitions drove the price of cotton down. Due to Abraham Lincoln’s Union Blockade, the South was not able to market their millions of bales of cotton. He had the precautionary measure that Europe would intervene with the export of cotton, but they did not. As a result, cotton production increased in other parts of the world (e.g. India and Egypt) making America lose its monopoly in the cotton industry.
