AIII

Explanation:

 • Cell cycle is mainly divided into two phases-Interphase and Mitotic phase
 • Interphase is the preparatory phase whereas mitotic phase is the dividing phase
 • Various cyclins and Cdks are regulated during these phases
 • M-Cdks stands for Mitotic Cyclin Dependent Kinases which helps in cell cycle regulation
 • Cdks are the catalytic subunit bound to the regulatory subunit(cyclins)
 • Mitosis includes four stage namely Prophase,Metaphase,Anaphase and Telophase
 • During the Anaphase stage separation of sister chromatids occurs due to the destruction of a protein called cohesin
 • Destruction of cohesin is catalysed by an enzyme called separase
 • Prior to anaphase securin binds to separase and inhibits its activity
 • The APC(anaphase promoting complex) with specificity factor Cdc20 tragets securin for polyubiquitination which then degraded by proteasome
 • The separase released becomes active and breaks the bridge between sister chromatids
 • Movement of sister chromatids occurs towards their respective poles
 • In late anaphase, specific phopshates called Cdc14 removes the regulatory phosphate group from cdh1 specificity factor and therefore Cdh1 becomes active
 • Active Cdh1 specificity factor binds to and activate APC(anaphase promoting complex)
 • Cdh1 bound APC catalyse ubiquitination of mitotic cyclins
 • As the mitotic cyclins are degraded by the proteasome, onset of telophase starts
 • Wee1 is a kinase enzyme which comes into consideration in case of fission yeast
 • Wee 1 phosphorylates the inhibitory site of M-Cdk which further leads the cells to enter into mitosis

A plant has cambium in its vascular tissue and pollen is produced in male cones. The plant disperses seeds but does not produce

Coniferophyta

Explanation:

Plants and trees belonging to coniferphyta are gymnosperms which are vascular plants with unprotected or naked seeds. These are called conifers because they bear male and female cones produced by the sporophytes on the same tree . The female conifers have many seeds on the cone scales.

These cones have spores which undergoes meiosis and produce male and female gametes respectively. Male gametes with pollen grains produces sperm cells and female gametes produce egg cells inside the ovules.

During the spring season with winds blowing, pollen released from the male cone disperses on the female cone present on the same tree.

Upon reaching the female cone, the sperms in the male gametes will fertilize the egg cells in the female and will fertilize to form zygote. This zygote will develop into an embryo in the ovules and later develop into seeds.

When these seeds fall on the ground, they get germinated into a new conifer. Thus dispersal of the seeds is taken care of by the seeds itself without the production of any fruit.

Evidence of Evolution in the human body?
expeople1 [14]

Answer:

Another type of evidence for evolution is the presence of structures in organisms that share the same basic form. For example, the bones in the appendages of a human, dog, bird, and whale all share the same overall construction ([Figure 2]). That similarity results from their origin in the appendages of a common ancestor.
