Theodore Roosevelt is famous for his foreign policy legacy which helped united states expand its horizons in the world stage.

He advocated war against Spain after becoming the Assistant Secretary of the Navy under President William McKinley. He helped to mobilize navy forces against Spain when his boss was away. Next notable accomplishment after becoming president is the establishment of panama canal.

He also mediated between Russia and japan war for establishing peace and he was also awarded Nobel peace prize. He worked on building a strong navy and added sixteen battleships and named it the Great White Fleet which was on a tour around the world.
