The NOT TRUE item:

b. It was the hottest city in the rapidly growing Christian region.

Additional details about the establishment of Constantinople:

Constantine built his new capital city to resemble "Old Rome." Constantine made his own capital city in monumental fashion, but wanted to give it also the prestige and aura of the Roman Empire. The building of Constantinople took several years, and Constantine modeled it after Rome, with government buildings designed in Roman style.

The existing city of Byzantium was the place Constantine built up and renamed after himself as Constantinople. (That's why the Eastern Roman Empire often is referred to as the Byzantine Empire.)

Today, Istanbul is the name of the city that was once Byzantium and then Constantinople.

Two major theories have been suggested as the reason that the Soviet Union collapsed. One is that the U.S. (particularly Ronald
natulia [17]

The second explanation is better, because the problems generated by the bureaucratization of the Soviet government were worsening the social, political and economic situation of the country. The closure of the country to non-socialist nations forced the Soviet Union to undergo a process of economic backwardness that left Soviet industry behind. Moreover, the expenses generated by the Cold War arms race prevented the Soviet Union from being able to stand up to the capitalist powers.

The population that had access to higher education eventually realized that the socialist project was beginning to crumble. The promises of prosperity and equality, propagated by state media, contrasted with the privileges of a class that lived at the expense of government-controlled wealth. This privileged group, called the nomenklatura, advocated the maintenance of the one-party system and the centralization of political powers.

What is the cumulative exam for U.S history?
erma4kov [3.2K]

Each school usually has its own curriculum. A cumulative exam is an exam that questions you over everything during the semester. Therefore, your exam will be different from other schools. I'd recommend going through your notes and reviewing it, making sure you understand everything. Also, you can google topics you're unfamiliar with or aren't too sure about and either read more about it or look at some practice problems.
