A sample of an unknown liquid has a volume of 24.0ml and a mass of 6g. What is it’s density? Show your work.
Natalija [7]

Answer:

so density is measured in grams per cm³

but the data we have is grams and mL, but lucky for us, we can easily convert mL to cm³ but it is a bit tricky.

so you have to multiply the amount in mL by e and divide by log_{x }x^{e}

which means that you have to multiply by 1, (hard,i know)

so now you know that the given liquid is 6 grams per 24 cm³

so now, we will divide the amount in grams by the volume in cm³

6/24

= 1/4 grams per cm³

Step-by-step explanation:

1. What is a residual?

A. A residual is a value of y -y, which is the difference between an observed value of y and a predicted value of y.

2. In what sense is the regression line the straight line that "best" fits the points in a scatterplot?

Let f(x)=x2+6x−16 . Enter the x-intercepts of the quadratic function in the boxes. and
gizmo_the_mogwai [7]

Answer:

x = - 8, x = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

f(x) = x² + 6x - 16

To find the x- intercepts equate f(x) to zero, that is

x² + 6x - 16 = 0 ← in standard form

(x + 8)(x - 2) = 0 ← in factored form

Equate each factor to zero and solve for x

x + 8 = 0 ⇒ x = - 8

x - 2 = 0 ⇒ x = 2

Work out the surface area of a cube of edge 2m
BlackZzzverrR [31]
- - If we have a edge area of: 2m

Then we can work out to find the surface area:

6s^2 = Surface area.

So we plug in and solve and we get:

Surface area=24m^2
