Answer:

The Indian Tribes

Explanation:

Georgia became a colony through <em>James Edward Oglethorpe</em>, a benevolent philanthropist. He named the new colony "Georgia" in honor of <em>King George II. </em>The main purpose of this colony was to act as a <em>"defensive buffer"</em> against the many enemies surrounding South Carolina.

Georgia's land then became cleared for the first settlers. When Oglethorpe arrived there, he immediately negotiated with the "Indian Tribes." Majority of the colony's trade partner comes from the<u> "Upper Creek" tribe.</u> They became Georgia's primary trading partners and the strategy also prevented them from being attacked by the native people.

What effect did the use of credit have on the economy in the 1920s? it made the economy stronger. it made the economy weaker. it
Murrr4er [49]

The correct answer is B) it made the economy weaker.

<em>The effect that the use of credit had on the economy in the 1920s was that it made the economy weaker. </em>

What happened in the 1920s is not complicated to understand. Due to the prosperity in the economy, the so called “Roaring 20’s” consumerism was the constant in the country. Many people began to buy what did not needed but wanted. With the use of credit, families started to buy things for the house, personal care, and new things that were advertised. With credit, they had the opportunity to pay the bills every month. But the problem was that people started to buy things that later they were not capable of paying. Consumers bought a lot of things they could not afford. That is why consumers weakened the economy in the late 1920s.

Which of the following definitions best describes an enclave?
Usimov [2.4K]

Answer:

A. a separate part of a city dedicated largely to one group

Explanation:

The enclaves represent separate parts of the cities where one group is dominant. This often happens with the migrants, as very often they look to live next to compatriots so that they can communicate and have easier adaptation in the new place. Unfortunately, the enclaves make lot of problems, as the people living in them often don't even try to integrate, but keep their own culture, speak their own language, set their own rules, which results in divisions on ethnic or religious  basis.
