pleaseeeee hlpppp. i just need the diagraam i can't figure it out.surveyor is measuring the length of a lake. He takes angle mea

surements from two positions, A and B that are 136 m apart and on the same side of the lake. From B, the measure of the angle betweet the sight lines to the ends of the lake is 130 degrees and the measure of the angle between the sight lines to A and one end of the lake is 120°. From A, the measure of the angle between the sight lines to the ends of the lake is 65 degrees, and the measure of the angle between the sight lines to B and the same end of the lake is 20 degrees Calculate the length of the lake, to the nearest metre. 20°..

Let the distance from A to the ends of the lake be w and r . From the given it appears that

w / sin 104 = 136 / sin 56 and r / sin 120 = 136 / sin 15....solve for w & r.

then L² = r² + w² - 2 r w cos 65 , where L = length of the lake...

Choose the rule to describe the transformation:
butalik [34]

We are given:

The initial points: T(2 , 3) U(5, 4) V(2, 0)

The transformed points: T'(-1, 2) U'(2,3) V'(-1, -1)

Identifying the Transformation rule:

Since all these points will follow the same rule, we will take a pair of initial and transformed points and compare them

T(2, 3) → T'(-1, 2)

We can see that these points are not reflected across the y-axis

Checking if they have a dilation of 0.25 about the origin:

Dilation of 0.25 about the origin basically means if the Initial x and y coordinates are multiplied by 0.25 to form the transformed points

So, if the points have a dilation of 0.25:

x (initial) * 0.25 = x(final)

2*0.25 = -1

0.5 ≠ -1

Hence, there is no dilution of 0.25

Checking if the given points are translated:

To check this, we will take 2 pairs of initial and transformed points

T(2,3) → T'(-1,2)

U(5,4) → U'(2,3)

To check if there is transformation, we need to check if the difference between the x and y coordinates of initial and transformed points is equal

Change in coordinates of T:

x-coordinates:

x(final) - x(initial) = x(change)

x(change) = -1 - (2)

x(change) = -3

y-coordinates:

y(change) = y(final) - y(initial)

y(change) = 2 - (3)

y(change) = -1

Change in coordinates of U:

x-coordinates:

x(change) = x(final) - x(initial)

x(change) = 2 - 5

x(change) = -3

y-coordinates:

y(change) = y(final) - y(initial)

y(change) = 3 - 4

y(change) = -1

Since there is the same change in x and y coordinates of the initial and transformed points, we know that Translation took place

Since the change in x is -3 and the change in y is -1, the translation will look like:

(x-3 , y-1)

Which is also option d.

Hence, option d is the correct answer

Thank you so much friend.

I think a advantage of this will be that we will be able to tell our grandchildren about how we survived the pandemic, just like our grandparents talk about World War. Lol.

Parker Middle School's chior needs to raise $480 for an upcoming trip they will take. At their first fundraising project, they r
harkovskaia [24]

The money does the choir still need to raise is $180.

Step-by-step explanation:

The money needed to be raised by the choir for an upcoming trip = $480.

It is given that, the money needed was raised in two fundraising projects.

During the first fundraising project :

The choir raised 25% of the money needed for the trip.

⇒ 25% of 480

⇒ (25/100) × 480

⇒ (1/4) × 480

⇒ 120

Therefore, the first fundraising project raised $120.

During the second fundraising project :

The choir raised 3/8 of the money needed for the trip.

⇒ 3/8 of 480

⇒ (3/8) × 480

⇒ 3 × 60

⇒ 180

Therefore, the second fundraising project raised $180.

To find the money does the choir still need to raise :

You need to find the remaining amount from the 480 after raising money from the two fund raising projects.

For that, find out how much you raised from those fund raising projects and subtract it from the 480.

Money needed = Total money required for the trip - Raised money

⇒ 480 - (120+180)

⇒ 480 - 300

⇒ 180 dollars.

The money does the choir still need to raise is $180.
