Modern history, the modern period or the modern era, is the linear, global, historiographical approach to the time frame after post-classical history.
Modern history can be broken down into periods:
• The early modern period began approximately in the early 16th century; notable historical milestones included the European Renaissance, the Age of Discovery, and the Protestant Reformation
• The late modern period began approximately in the mid-18th century; notable historical milestones included the American Revolution, the French Revolution, the Industrial Revolution, the Great Divergence, and the Russian Revolution. It took all of human history up to 1804 for the world's population to reach 1 billion; the next billion came just over a century later, in 1927.
• Contemporary history is the span of historic events from approximately 1945 that are immediately relevant to the present time.

It was how Earth Day came to be celebrated and was how things like the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act, the Endangered Species Act were passed and the Environmental Protection Agency was created to help clean up chemical waste and any other pollutants. Obviously without these things we’d have a huge problem and we depend on them greatly if you think about it.
That men and women were likely thought to be equals and hunting was essential for survival.
If gender roles had not formed in regard to survival and food collection, then there probably were not many gender roles in the society. Men and women would be taught the same skills so both could hunt effectively. This also suggests that societies were probably small requiring all members of society to participate in food collection so people could eat. Hunting would have been the main source for food but also for materials to make clothes and tools.
