This Essay was published by James Monroe’s publishing company and this essay puts forth the foundation of transcendentalism which was a system that espouses a non-traditional appreciation of nature</u>. His essay suggests that the divine force or God suffuses nature and his essay suggests that the reality of nature can only be understood by someone if that person studies it.  

In the Essay, the writer has divided nature into four usages that are the commodity, Language, beauty, and discipline.
