Define secularism and describe the role of secularism in Native and non-Native interactions. How does secularism influence Nativ
Art [367]

The correct answers to these open questions are the following.

Define secularism and describe the role of secularism in Native and non-Native interactions.

Secularism can be defined as the separation of religious teachings, concepts, or dogmas from the civic issues, affairs, or consideration from the government, the state, and social norms in modern societies.

How does secularism influence Native and non-Native paradigms regarding natural resources? How has this difference influenced Native and non-Native interactions?

Secularism affected the Native American Indian tribe's culture and beliefs in that secularism completely tried to change the perspective of life and belief systems the Indian had, at the moment white Europeans colonized the North American territory.

Something similar happened with the Mesoamerican Indian tribes and the Spanish conquerors. Spain sent missions to evangelize the Indians into the Catholic Church dogma.

Secularization tried to change the paradigms of the Native Indians regarding natural resources, but it has practically minimum results. Native Indians always believed that Mother Nature provided everything they need to live and that is why they respected and honored nature with dances and chants. That is the reason why they opposed giving their lands to white settlers to be exploited in order to get profits.

While you are playing Frisbee in the surf zone with another person, your friend watches while sitting on the beach nearby. After
aleksandrvk [35]

Answer:

The waves were coming at the shore from an angle, and they pushed you away towards that angle. See explanation below.

Explanation:

This is a common situation while being in the ocean.

This situation happens when waves come at the shore from an angle, therefore, the general current of the ocean switches to that angle and while you are "standing" in the ocean, the current is actually moving you towards that direction so you end up moving to one side of the other depending on the waves' angle.

Thus, while you are playing Frisbee in the surf zone the waves were coming from this angle who made you move so you no longer stand in front of your friend but 30 to 40 yards from where you started.

Who or what played a role in your socialization into college life?
natta225 [31]

I would say peers played a role in socialization into college life. If you are not comfortable being around your peers then you probably are not going to socialize with them. I went to college with friends so it made it easier for me to socialize with others easily. We did things together so I was easier for us to meet new people and try new things because we already had someone there that we knew.
