What are the two types of main ideas?.
vagabundo [1.1K]

Main Ideas are Stated and Implied. The author's thesis on the subject is the paragraph's major theme.

What are main ideas?

 • The author's thesis on the subject is the paragraph's major theme.Either way can work; it is frequently conveyed directly. The primary claim or argument that a sentence, paragraph, or text makes constitutes its major concept. The core notion may be explicitly expressed or implicit.
 • Unlike implicit main ideas, which are not explicitly expressed in the text, stated main ideas are made obvious within the text. One that is NOT explicitly mentioned in any one sentence in a passage is known as the Implied Main Idea.
 • The supporting details just hint at it or imply it.It is not stated in the text explicitly. The theme and a relationship to numerous significant features in the text are two aspects of the fundamental notion that are vital to note.
 • To make sure the reader has understood the author's major point is one reason to identify a text's core idea. Every author has a purpose in mind when they write a text.

(c) Proper nouns need capital letters, (d) Write the 5 proper nouns used in the recount (
Mariana [72]

Hi, This is the answer.

Dear Carol,

My vacation to Alaska was fantastic. I'll tell you about it.

After the long flight from Australia, we landed in Vancouver where a bus transferred us to our cruise ship. It took ages to get through customs and immigration, but finally we were on board. We explored the ship an found the pools, restaurants, the gym and places where you could get free hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza and ice-cream.

We visited an interesting port every second day. We anchored next to a glacier for a whole day and watched the ice breaking off. It was really loud.

Please write an tell me about your holiday.

Your friend, Jill.
