500 dots: this is because 1 minute is 5 dots. So, 5×100=500!

The pattern is that for every minute four dots are added diagnally. To find how many doths there are at 100 minutes we will multiply 4 x 100 and then add one for the dot e started at. 4 x 100 = 400 + 1 = 401

At 100 minutes there will be 401 dots.
