Zoe needs to buy beads to make jewelry. For each earning, Zoe uses 3 small blue beads, 1 metallic bead, and 2 large green beads. What is the total number of beads Zoe will need to buy to make 8 pairs of earrings? Show your work and explain the answer

First you have to find out how many beads it takes to make one earring, we can do this by adding the numbers of different beads:

3+1+2= 6

For each earring your need 6 beads, we know we need to make 8 pairs which is 16 earrings (8x2).

We can now times the 6 beads by the 16 earrings we need.

6x16=96

She will need to buy 96 beads.

Answer 2

Zoe will need 48 beads in total to make 6 pairs of earrings because she uses 6 for one earring she will need 6*8 to make 8 which would me 48.
