The type of external conflict is reflected in this excerpt from act V of Romeo and Juliet is option D. Person versus person.

External conflict is a struggle between the main character and some outside force. Therefore, it is outside the body of the protagonist. It tends to take place when the protagonist fights against the antagonist, a character that opposes the protagonist,  Other types of external conflict could also emerge as a result of some other factors like the forces of nature, and society in which the protagonist lives.
