The police in Nicaragua is different than the police in the USA in that the police in Nicaragua don't drive cars.

After the deposition of the National Guard of Nicaragua in June 1979, the Police Department started to operate under dictator Somoza control. It changed its name to "Sandinista police." Then in 1990m it chang its actual name to "National Police."
