Answer:

The budgeted materials need in liters for April is $54,800 liters.

Explanation:

For computing the needed budgeted material for April month, following equation is used which is shown below:

= Budgeted raw material + closing inventory - opening inventory

where ,

budgeted raw material for April month is $56,000  liters

Closing inventory is 30% of following month which equals to

= 52,000 × 30%

= 15,600 liters

and, opening inventory is given i.e. 16,800 liters.

Now, apply these values to the above equation which equals to

= $56,000 + $15,600 - $16,800

= $54,800 liters

Thus, the budgeted materials need in liters for April is $54,800 liters.

PIT_PIT [208]

Answer:

The correct answer is A

Explanation:

The Cash payments for the month of may is computed as:

Cash payment = Cash balance on May 1 + Cash received  during the month - Cash balance increased

where

Cash balance on May 1 is $30,000

Cash received  during the month is $47,000

Cash balance increased  is $33,000

Putting the values above:

Variable manufacturing overhead $ 1.45

Fixed manufacturing overhead $ 12,000

Sales commissions $ 1.00

Variable administrative expense $ 0.55

Price= 25

Contribution margin= Price - variable costs

Variable costs= direct materials + direct labor + variable manufacturing overhead + sales commissions + variable administrative expense

Variavle costs= 6.20 + 2.80 + 1.45 + 1 + 0.55= $12

Contribution margin per unit= 25 - 12= $13

The Gable Inn is an all-equity firm with 16,000 shares outstanding at a value per share of $14.50. The firm is issuing $50,000 o
sukhopar [10]

Answer:

Explanation:

Data provided:

Initial outstanding shares of the firm = 16,000 shares

Value of each share = $14.50

Debt issued = $50,000

Now,

the number of shares used for issuing for $50,000 debt

= Debt issued / value of each share

on substituting the respective values, we have

the number of shares used for issuing for $50,000 debt

= $50,000 / $14.50

= 3448.27 ≈ 3448 shares

Now,

The shares of stock that are outstanding once the debt is issued =

= Initial outstanding shares -  shares used for issuing for $50,000 debt

= 16,000 - 3448
