Answer:

Simplest form is \frac{(x+9)}{(x+4)}.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : \frac{x^{2}+5x-36 }{x^{2}-16 }.

To find : What is its simplest form .

Solution : We have given that  \frac{x^{2}+5x-36 }{x^{2}-16 }.

On factoring the numerator of given fraction we get,

                    x^{2} -4x+9x-36.

Taking common  x (x -4) +9(x-4).

On grouping (x+9) (x-4) .

Now , Factoring the denominator of given fraction x^{2} -16 by a^{2} -b^{2} = (a-b)(a+b)

                  (x-4) (x+4).

On substituting the numerator and  denominator in given fraction we get,

\frac{(x+9)(x-4)}{(x-4)(x+4)}.

On simpification we get \frac{(x+9)}{(x+4)}.

Therefore , Simplest form is \frac{(x+9)}{(x+4)}.

Kryger [21]

It is a decrease because it went down in cost.

To find percent:

Find difference from original amount to present amount.

So we do 4.11-2.92

=1.19

Now find the percent:

1.19/4.11 is about 28%

28% change.

Mrs.Roberts sewed m shirts using 2 yards of cloth for each shirt. She also sewed (m +2) dresses, using 5 yards of cloth for each d
topjm [15]

Answer:

(7m + 10) yards of cloth was used

Step-by-step explanation:

This is a multiplication problem. Firstly, we are told that she sew m shirts and she used 2 yards of cloth for each of the shirts. The total amount of materials used here is m * 2 = 2m yards

She also sew another (m + 2) Shirts using 5 yards of materials for each of the shirts. The total amount of materials used is thus 5(m + 2) which equals (5m + 10) yards

The total amount of cloth used altogether is thus 2m + (5m + 10) = (7m + 10) yards of cloth

Simplify the product using FOIL. (2x – 7)(5x 5)
Reptile [31]

FOIL is an 'acronym'.  It helps you remember how to multiply
two binomials ... like  (2x-7)  and  (5x+5) .

FOIL stands for "First, Outside, Inside, Last".  Here's how it's used
to multiply these particular two binomials:

                 (2x - 7) (5x + 5)

First:        (2x) (5x) = 10x²

Outside:  (2x) (5) = 10x

Inside:     (-7) (5x) = -35x

Last:        (-7) (5) = -35

Add them all together, and you have the product:

                             10x² + 10x -35x -35

Simplify the sum:  10x² - 25x -35

     or                    5(x² - 5x - 7) .
