Alright, so I am writing a story about a young movie director who has met up with his friends from when his parents worked at th

e studio. My plan is later in the story have them write a movie together and have the friend steal the plot and then have a lawsuit against the main character.
Is this a good idea or should I take it a different direction?

I think its a good idea it will show why yo need patents and will teach plagerism,
