ab^2 = be^2 + ae^2

6.5^2 = 6^2 + ae^2

42.25 = 36 +ae^2

6.25 = ae^2

2.5 = ae

23 = ae +ef +fd

23 = 2.5 + 9 +fd

fd = 11.5

tan D = opp/adj

tan D= cf /fd

tan  D = 6/11.5

D = tan^-1 (6/11.5)

D =27.5528

D = 27.6 degrees

ab^2 = be^2 + ae^2  pythagorean theorem  e is the point below b

6.5^2 = 6^2 + ae^2

42.25 = 36 +ae^2

6.25 = ae^2

2.5 = ae

23 = ae +ef +fd                                 f is the point below c

23 = 2.5 + 9 +fd

fd = 11.5

tan D = opp/adj

tan D= cf /fd

tan  D = 6/11.5

D = tan^-1 (6/11.5)

D =27.5528

D = 27.6 degrees

A retired couple has up to $50,000 to invest. As their financial adviser, you recommend that they place at least $35,000 in Trea
patriot [66]

Answer:

See Explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

According to the Question,

Given that, A retired couple has up to $50,000 to invest. As their financial adviser, you recommend that they place at least $35,000 in Treasury bills yielding 1% and at most $10,000 in corporate bonds yielding 3%.

Therefore,

Let, x be the amount of money invested in Treasury bills

y be the amount invested in corporate bonds

Thus, the system of equations of linear inequalities is

x + y ≤ 50000

x ≥ 35000

0 ≤ y ≤ 10000

For, the graph of the system of equations of linear inequalities describes the possible amounts of each investment.

Find the next two terms of the following sequence: 14, 38, 74, 122, 182, 254...
Bezzdna [24]
Let's find the difference between each number.
38-14=24
74-38=36
122-74=48
182-122=60
254-182=72
As you can tell, you're adding 12 to each difference before. The next difference would be 72+12=84. Let's add.
254+84=338
Now the next difference would be 84+12=96.
338+96=434
So, the next two terms are 338 and 434.

Readme [11.4K]

Answer:

240 \leq 12.5p + 65

14 \leq\\ p

Step-by-step explanation:

I'll explain the equation in different parts

12.5p - Since the number of times he visits is unknown, it has to be a variable. With each visit, however, he earns 12.5 points.

65 - This is a set value that remains constant

240 \leq\\ - Since he needs AT LEAST 240 points, he needs 240 points or more to get his free ticket

As for solving the equation just use properties of equality

240 \leq 12.5p + 65

175 \leq 12.5p

14 \leq\\ p
