Answer:

a) Number of Economics pages that can be read in 5 hours = 5 * 20 = 100

Number of Sociology pages that  can be read in 5 hours = 5 * 50 = 250

Find attached production possibility Frontier diagram showing Economics pages and  sociology pages that Maria can read in 5 hours

b) It takes two hours to Maria to read 100 sociology pages, meaning in 2 hours, number of Economics pages that Maria can read = 20 * 2 = 40

Opportunity cost of reading 100 pages of sociology is the number of Economics pages forgone, which is equal to 40 pages.

Qualitative characteristic being employed when companies in the same industry are using the same accounting principles. select a
Sidana [21]

Answer:

The correct answer is comparability.

Explanation:

One of the qualitative characteristics of financial information is the comparability that is defined as allowing general users to identify and analyze the differences and similarities with the information of the same entity and with that of other entities, over time. The Financial Information Standard A-4, Qualitative characteristics of the Financial Statements, describes this characteristic in detail. The financial figures allow us to observe the evolution of our own company and evaluate the distance that separates us from other organizations.

In the case of publicly traded companies, such comparisons can be made that allow us to refine our financial criteria and guide, for example, our decisions as investors. Of course, there are many elements to consider and the more we consider, the stronger our performance will be.

On July 1 of the current year, the assets and liabilities of John Wong, DVM, are as follows: Cash, $10,687; Accounts Receivable,
Agata [3.3K]

Answer:

The amount of stockholders' equity as of July 1 of the current year is $39,994

Explanation:

In John Wong, DVM, on July 1 of the current year:

Total asset = Cash + Accounts Receivable + Supplies + Land = $10,687 + $8,307 + $1,853 + $24,857 = $45,704

Liabilities = Accounts Payable = $5,710

Basing on accounting equation:

Total asset = Liabilities + Stockholders' Equity

Stockholders' Equity  = Total asset - Liabilities = $45,704 - $5,710 = $39,994
