Most of the text below should have been written in the past tense. Read it carefully and then correct the six verbs that are in

the wrong tense. Holiday Diary: Monday We arrive in the middle of a thunderstorm at one in the morning. I take the tent out of the car and try to pitch, only to then realise that we had forgotten the pegs. The kids’ faces stare at me through the car’s streaked windows as the dogs sit beside them. Three-quarters of an hour later I finally manage to wake the site’s shop owner, bought some spare pegs and got us all under canvas. The forecast, typically, is for rain all week. Good old summer!

Read the excerpt below from the poem “Ulalume” by Edgar Allan Poe and answer the question that follows.
harina [27]

Alliteration is the repetition of a word of sound within the same phrase, such as "Ulalume"; Asonance is a vowel coincidence in the termination of two words, such as "it was night in the lonesome october

of my most immemorial year"; the consonance is an unmotivated use of words that are very close for each other, such as " we noted not the dim lake of Auber- (though once we had journeyed down here)"; and the poetic image describes something real through words, such as "these are days when my heart was volcanic", which explains his heart beats too strong.
