Hello!

The most accurate answer is

C. J’étais

This is because for one B (Was) and D (I have) make no sense at all in this statement. The statement is asking
<span>When _____ in France, I visited several monuments.

Answer A) is very tricky because A has the same meaning as Answer C they both mean (I was)

But choice C is correct because of the past tense used in this sentence.

Glad to help! :)</span>

Bonjour

<em>How to form the"conditionnel tense"</em>

2-<em>-Do you know the endings of the "imparfait tense"  ►</em>

-ais, -ais, -ait, -ions, -iez, -aient

2- <em>Do you know  the roots used to form the "futur tense" ? (for regular verbs)</em>

<em>exemple = 1st group =>  chanter</em>

<em>                   2nd group => finir</em>

<em>                   3rd groups  = dormir / prendr- / </em>

so to form the conditionnel, you must add the endings of the "imparfait tense" to the roots of the "futur tense"

<em>EXAMPLES</em>

<em>parler =</em>

<em>je parler-ais</em>

<em>tu parler-ais</em>

<em>il/elle/on parler-ait</em>

<em>nous parler-ions</em>

<em>vous parler-iez</em>

<em>ils/elles parler-aient</em>

-

As in English you use helping modal as "would" + verb, in French you must conjugate the whole verb in the conditionnel tense.

-

I would like to go out = j'aimer/ais sortir

we would maybe  leave tomorrow = Nous partir/ions peut-être demain

-

si + présent  ====> futur simple

si je gagne à la loterie, j'achèterai une nouvelle maison

si + imparfait  ====> conditionnel simple

si nous avions le temps, nous partirions faire le tour du monde.

si + plus-que-parfait =====> conditionnel passé

si ils avaient eu beaucoup d'argent, ils auraient acheté une nouvelle voiture.

-

Hope this helps ☺☺☺

Answer:

Explanation:

There are a few solutions because there are some fractions and decimals between 8 and 10. Because there are many numbers in between (8.7, 8.32), this would be the correct answer.
