Answer:

(a) Ratio

(b) Interval

(c) Nominal

(d) Ordinal

(e) Ordinal

(f) Ordinal

Step-by-step explanation:

Nominal data is the data which is labeled without using quantitative data.

Ordinal data is the data in which we can order them.

Interval data has continuous as well as a discrete value, which has the largest and smallest known value. Here we know the order. Here the difference between two values is meaningful.

Ratio data has all properties of Interval data and it has its definition of zero(0) i.e. none of the points is included. Example, Weight, Height, etc.

(a) Ratio, since it has continued as well as discrete data and it is possible that the difference of two values can't be the same.

(b) It is interval data because the time of one class is known to everyone also it has starting class time and ending class time. Example, 9:00 am to 10:00 am

(c) Nominal, since it is categorical data.

(d) Ordinal, since here we can order quality of course. poor < acceptable < good.

(e) Ordinal, since we can order the marks.

(f) Ordinal, since we can order the age.

Find the Product and Combine similar terms.
1. -1(7+4b) =
2. x(x²–2xy+y²) =
3. -5x(-3+x) =
sergejj [24]
-1(7+4b) - distribute the -1 to the expression
(-1 * 7) + (-1 * 4b) — ( + and - = - )when it is multiplied
= -7 - 4b — there is no like term to added to subtracted so it will stay as like

x(x^2 - 2xy+y^2) distribute x to all
= x(x^2) - x(2xy) + x(y^2)
= x^3 - 2x^2y + xy^2 in multiplication exponent add to similar variable
No like term to connect

-5x(-3+x)
= -5x(-3) -5x(+x). (- and - is +)
= 15x -5x. similar variable x so connect the like connect like term by subtracting them
= 10x

PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kamila [148]

Answer:

Twelve tickets cost $30 --> True

Thirty tickets cost $12 --> False

Each additional costs $2.50 --> True

The table is a partial rep --> True

ordered pairs --> False

Step-by-step explanation:

Twelve tickets cost $30 --> True, you can literally see that in the table

Thirty tickets cost $12 --> False, 30 is not in the table so you don't have that information. Besides, $12 is an unlikely low value for so many tickets.

Each additional costs $2.50 --> True, you can see the difference in the TotalCost column to be consistently 2.50.

The table is a partial rep --> True, values below 11 are not shown for example.

ordered pairs --> False --> Then the x value should be first, e.g., (11, 27.50), since the cost y is a function of the number x.
