Sentence fragments should be (5 points) Select one:

English
2 answers:

Answer:

Sentence fragments should be avoided when writing

Explanation:

Sentence Fragments are incomplete sentences. They are group of words that look somewhat like a complete sentence but they are not. More often than not, fragments are always disconnected from the main clause.

An example is:

"Discovered the cure for the disease."

The text alone makes no sense because it leaves the readers with thought of "who discovered the cure for the disease?"

When writing formally, you should avoid sentence fragments completely. There's no penalty for using them but in actual sense, they lack the clarity of complete sentences, and they sound less professional.

A better way to present the example above is

"The scientists discovered the cure for the disease."

In act ii of the crucible, why does proctor think that abigail accuses elizabeth of witchcraft?
suter [353]

Answer:

Proctor believes that Abigail accused Elizabeth of witchcraft because Abigail wanted revenge on Proctor for rejecting her. When Elizabeth says to Proctor: "The judge sits in your heart judging you", it means  Proctor: carries the knowledge of his own guilt in his heart.
