The clearest inference would be that all the facts pointed out in the table comparing the two Koreas denote that South Korea is more economically developed than North Korea, as can be observed:

Economic output per person: The dollar value of South Korea is much higher than it is North Korea, that is, the one who produces the most makes more money and moves the economy better;

Number of main telephone lines: This fact not only represents a greater power of communication of South Korea but also represents a greater purchasing power of the population and greater economic/cultural growth than North Korea;

Number of cell phones: This fact not only represents a greater power of communication (and technological advancement in this area) of South Korea but represents a greater purchasing power of the population and greater economic/cultural growth than that of North Korea (which is stagnant);

Total number of roads: The bigger the number of roads the more developed is the country because the roads lead to the advancement of the economy (business is facilitated, people meet and society grows). And South Korea wins again in this respect;

Life expectancy: If life expectancy is higher, people live well/better, which means a balanced economy with better income distribution. And in South Korea people live 10 years longer than in North Korea.

When we seek out and use only evidence that confirms our views, we are guilty of…?
34kurt

When we do this we are guilty of Confirmation bias.

In another words, it is when we search for information that just confirms our thoughts or hypotheses. An example of this situation would be if we are arguing that global warming does not exist, and to demonstrate this, we search Google's information "why global warming is false", then we are looking for a source that agrees with us.
