Why do we celebrate Christmas?
elena-14-01-66 [18.8K]

Answer:

Christmas is celebrated to remember the birth of Jesus Christ, who Christians believe is the Son of God. The name 'Christmas' comes from the Mass of Christ (or Jesus). A Mass service (which is sometimes called Communion or Eucharist) is where Christians remember that Jesus died for us and then came back to life.

Answer: The numeral 20

Explanation:

For the Maya, the basic unit of time, a day, was called a kin. In the second order, 20 kins made up a uinal. In a vigesimal system the third order would be 20 uinals but, instead, 18 uinals made up a tun. Thus a tun was 360 kin (days)

Which event or circumstance do you consider to be the most significant? Why?
Nutka1998 [239]
The most major event i believe is "The bombing of Pearl Harbor". Without this, the US would most likely never have joined the war militarily with sufficient allies left, and the US would face a two front war by itself when Britain fell (which would have been sooner or later). With the US joining the war, the Allies changed their plans from stalling the enemies to actually fighting back

hope this helps
