Body divided into segments and are separated by septa bristles attached to each segment. These characteristics belongs to Annelida phylum.


Spiny skeleton, deuterostome, radial symmetry, water vascular system. They belong to Echinodermata phylum.


Radial symmetry, stinging tentacles, endo and ecto, germ layers, soft-bodied belongs to Cnidaria phylum.

so here's my thinking- your body is pretty in homeostasis whenever you aren't sick, so when you do get sick your body's 'balance' gets thrown off theoretically. and according to wikipedia,  homeostasis is the state of steady internal, physical, and chemical conditions maintained by living systems. this is the condition of optimal functioning for the organism and includes many variables, such as body temperature and fluid balance, being kept within certain pre-set limits.
