The reichstag fire was in germany, supposedly a communist set the reichstag on fire. It destroyed the building and everything inside of it. Many people believe that the ine man started it, but others believe it was the nazis that did it to put people off of communism.

Spain had colonies in North America, but they focused more on the rest of South America excluding Brazil more. The colonies they had in North America were quickly lost to Mexico and America.

All of the Founders agreed that white, land-owning men were entitled to the rights of the Constitution. Beyond that group there was disagreement. Therefore, to get the passage of the Constitution some made compromises knowing the states could adjust laws as needed. 
Blacks were not considered people in some cases, let alone entitled to rights. Women also were treated in a similar way. As the US grew so did the groups included in the democratic process.
