Answer: The Great Depression was a severe agricultural crisis that happened in the "Dust Bowl". The wet years was what mostly protected this region, but in the early 1930's, very little rain fell. The wind now had grasp of the fertile topsoil, and blew it to dust. For those in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Arkansas who have lost their jobs due to the massive dust storms, their only way out was to travel west. In California, for example, the rains still fell down and had lots of fertile land to offer for the farmers in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Arkansas.

The correct answer is 4. laissez-faire capitalists.
Laissez-faire capitalists represent the group of people who would most likely object to the government regulation of business in the 19th century. Laissez-faire represents the system of trade which is free from government interference, so obviously this group would be against that.
