The interquartile range of this set of data is 55.

First, you need to put all 10 of the numbers in order. Then, first the first and third quartile. That is the middle of the lower half and middle of the upper half.

Those values are 23 and 78,

The IQR is the difference of those values.

78 - 23 = 55

dusya [7]
If |2w - 3| > 5

then

2w - 3 < - 5 or 2w - 3 > 5

2w < - 5 + 3 or 2w > 5 + 3

2w < - 2 or 2w > 8

w < -2/2 or w > 8/2

w < -1 or w > 4

So the solution set is

S = { x E R : w < -1 or w > 4}

or using the interval notation

S = (- infinity, -1) U (4, + infinity).

I hope this helps. =)

Ms. Bell's mathematics class consists of 12 sophomores, 8 juniors, and 9 seniors. How many different ways can Ms. Bell create a
shtirl [24]

Answer:

792

Step-by-step explanation:

It's a combination question. The order is of no consequence. Also the fact that there are juniors and seniors is not important either.

So the answer is

12C5

(12 - 5)! * 5!

12 * 11 * 10 * 9 * 8

Mashutka [201]
Currently, the standard deviation is 10, because on average the cards were $10 away from the mean.

Adding another card with value $25 would decrease the standard deviation because it is closer to the mean the the current standard deviation.

What are the x and y- intercepts for the line 4(y+3)=−2(x+6)?

Please give an actual answer.
kow [346]
Hello!

X and Y intercepts are found when graphing an equation. You know the X and Y intercepts by when a point crosses the X axis, and for the Y intercept, when a point crosses the Y axis.

First off we must simplify the equation.

4y + 12 = -2x - 12

Here is the photo of the graph attached.

By looking at the graph we can see the answer is...

X intercept = (-12,0)
Y intercept = (0,-6)

umka21 [38]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

This is most likely the answer if the lines are perpendicular... But if It doesn't give you an image of the 2 angles, then the answer is 105°
