Looking at these two quotes from Of Plymouth Plantation, what can the reader infer about the Pilgrims who came over on the Mayfl

ower? “But it pleased God before they came half seas over, to smit this young man with a grievous disease, of which he died in a desperate manner, and so was himself the first that was thrown overboard” (3). “Being thus arrived in a good harbor, and brought safe to land, they fell upon their knees and blessed the God of Heaven who had brought them over the vast and furious ocean, and delivered them from all the perils and miseries thereof, again to set their feet on the firm and stable earth, their proper element” (5). Question 3 options: The pilgrims were atheists. The pilgrims were glad to get to shore. The pilgrims laughed at the first man to die on the ship. The pilgrims viewed God as an all-powerful being who could direct the course of the lives of men. Please help!!!

Why is Mr.Poe always believing that the children are lying to him about Count Olaf?
elixir [45]

Answer:

Here you go btw love series of unfortunate events

Explanation:

The reason why Mr. Poe always thinks the children are lying is because, he thinks that they are used to their old rich ways, and that he thinks that the change is making the children make stuff up.  Another reason why could be because he thinks the kids want attention, and he could think that the kids just want to live somewhere else.  Also, Mr. Poe thinks that no one would do all of that just for a fortune.  Mr. Poe is really du mb and he needs to open his eyes, and actually try to investigate, and he needs to think better too.

Hope this helps, stay safe, god bless ya'll, and have a Great day!!!
