We are given

total number of dolls =5

and there are five spaces only to be arranged in

In first space:

Any five dolls can be put in

so, number of ways of putting dolls in first space is 5

In Second space:

One doll is already put in first space

so, only four dolls can be put in

so, number of ways of putting dolls in second space is 4

In Third space:

One doll is already put in second space

so, only three dolls can be put in

so, number of ways of putting dolls in third space is 3

In Fourth space:

One doll is already put in third space

so, only two dolls can be put in

so, number of ways of putting dolls in fourth space is 2

In Fifth space:

One doll is already put in fourth space

so, only one dolls can be put in

so, number of ways of putting dolls in fifth space is 1

so, total number of ways five dolls can be arranged

=5*4*3*2*1

=120.................Answer

Find the coordinates of the intersection of the diagonals of parallelogram GHJK with vertices G(0,2), H(4,2), J(3,0), and K(-1,0
zimovet [89]

Answer:

(1.5,1)

Step-by-step explanation:

The midpoint of G and H is at (2,2).

The midpoint if J and K is (1,0)

The midpoint of the two midpoints is (1.5,1)

You could also i.e. directly ask for the midpoint of H an K, OR, G and J, and you would get the same final result.

How do yo slove the problem
maksim [4K]
4) In triangle, angle opposite to perpendicular is 90-60 = 30
So, tan Ф = P/B
tan 30 = a / 6
1/√3 = a/6
a = 6/√3
a = 2√3

Now, cosФ = B/H
cos 30 = 6/b
√3/2 = 6/b
b = 6*2/√3
b = 12/√3
b = 4√3

In short, Your Answer would be a = 2√3 and b = 4√3

Hope this helps!

Urgent help needed!
zalisa [80]

To write this in standard form, you need to eliminate the fraction in the coefficient of variable x. You can do this by multiplying 8 to the two sides of the equation:

8(y) = 8[(-5/8)x + 3]

8y = -5x + 24

Transpose the variable x to the other side:

5x + 8y = 24
