By definition, a contradiction occurs when we have different evidence that points towards opposite and mutually exclusive conclusions. Therefore, our problem is the fact that there is no clear answer to a problem. One of the ways in which this could be resolved is by examining more diverse evidence. Looking for more and more varied sources of information could help us establish which position is better supported by data.
