Answer:

5x^2 (2y +5)

Step-by-step explanation:

10x^2y+25x^2

LEts write the factors for each term

10x^2y ------> 5*2*x*x*y

25x^2 -------> 5*5*x*x

common factors will be our greatest common factor

5 , x and x  are in common

so GCF is 5*x*x = 5x^2

Now we factor out 5x^2

10x^2y+25x^2

5x^2 (\frac{10x^2y}{5x^2} +\frac{25x^2}{5x^2})

5x^2 ( 2y +5)

During a business trip, an individual stopped at two rest stops. In the parking lot of the first rest stop, they counted 20 cars
olganol [36]

Answer

given,

on first stop

number of car = 20  and number of trucks = 18

on second stop

number of car = 18  and number of trucks = 10

we need to calculate which rest stop has higher ratio of car to truck.

Rest Stop 1

ratio= r₁ =\dfrac{cars}{trucks}

           r₁ =\dfrac{20}{18}

           r₁ =\dfrac{10}{9}

Rest Stop 2

ratio= r₂ =\dfrac{cars}{trucks}

           r₂ =\dfrac{18}{10}

           r₂=\dfrac{9}{5}

hence, r₂ > r₁

rest stop 2 has more car to truck ratio than rest stop 1

A goat is tethered to a stake in the ground with a 5-m rope. The goat can graze to the full length of the rope a full 360 degree
Nina [5.8K]
The length of the rope in this case becomes the radius of the circle that the goat is able to graze. The area of the circle is calculated through the equation,
                            A = πr²
Substituting,
                              A = π(5m)² = 78.54 m²
Thus, the area that the goat is able to graze is equal to 78.54 m².
